Congratualtion to Team Trident on their 2021 National Ranking
8/12/2021
A huge congratulations to our 2021 Nationally ranked Trident Archers!
Despite the enormous challenges we have had to face over the past year and a half each of these archers have worked hard and spent countless hours practicing to attain these rankings, and we are beyond proud of their accomplishments!
Final 2021 Ranking:
Natalie Hong- 2nd Cadet Female Recurve(Texas) (Jr. US Archery Team Member 2022)
Carter Mechant- 15th Junior Male Recurve (Jr. US Archery Team Member 2021)
Carson Sikes- 16th Junior Male Recurve
Natalie Hsu- 16th Cadet Female Recurve
Each archer is required to shoot a minimum of 3 of 6 National USAT ranking tournaments in order to obtain a ranking; In order to be selected to the US Archery Team, the archer needs to finish in the top 5. The tournaments are as follows:
USAT Indoor Nationals, Multiple Venues around the US
USAT Arizona Cup - Phoenix, AZ
USAT Gator Cup - Newberry, Fla.
USAT SoCal Showdown- Chula Vista, CA.
USAT JOAD Target Nationals - Decatur, AL.
USAT Buckeye Classic, Dublin Ohio
None of this can happen without the dedication and sacrifice of the parents(some of whom are coaches as well) and families of these archers who I am deeply appreciative of. Trident would not exist without you.
Next year we are looking forward to another exciting year of an even stronger Trident Team!!!!
